A Story Rooted in Care,
Experience, and Family
Coastal Care Homes was created from both decades of professional experience and deeply personal caregiving.
For more than 20 years, our founder, Genevieve Brill Murphy, has served families throughout Long Beach, Seal Beach, Huntington Beach and surrounding communities through an award-winning Visiting Angels home care office, providing trusted, non-medical care to seniors in the comfort of their own homes.That experience is complemented by a deeply personal understanding of care.
The founder has also walked this journey firsthand —
caring for close family members during some of life’s most meaningful and challenging seasons, including supporting her own Mother who faced complex health challenges and Mother-in-law living with Alzheimer’s.
Through these experiences, a clear understanding emerged:
while caring for a loved one by bringing them into your own home is incredibly meaningful, it is not always possible for every family.
And when that time comes, families want more than just a place — they want to know their loved one will be cared for with the same attention, dignity, and compassion they would provide themselves.
Coastal Care Homes was created to be that place.
The first Coastal Care Homes residence has been thoughtfully remodeled with careful attention to every detail — creating an environment that is not only safe and supportive, but also beautiful, warm, and welcoming.
This vision extends beyond a single home, with plans to thoughtfully expand and bring this same level of care and environment to additional locations over time.
